The International Digital Art Festival 2019 took place over two days (26–27 June) in the heart of Manchester at Federation House .
The event had a very clear purpose; Inspire, educate and on-board more people to blockchain art and the web 3 movement. This recap will reveal how close we got to that goal.
The 2 day digital art festival had brought together VR, AR experts, leading digital artists and the best blockchain platforms.The festival had 3 areas, the main space was a digital art gallery exhibiting a large visual installation by Reece McDowell in the centre of the room, with a class sculpture by artist Megan Cowley directly behind it, these physical artworks were surrounded by 60 individual digital artworks displayed on 50″ LCD screens. The artwork on show were wide ranging, from large scale projects by artist duo Dejha Ti and Ania Catherine and Ai piece by the god farther GAN himself Mario Klingemann. Never before has such an eclectic mix of work been in show in Manchester.
